ReplyDeleteSorry for the confusion- Zip Car is a a car sharing service. It's kind of like a rental car, but you pay a membership fee and pay by the hour. Zip Cars are parked unattended in neighborhoods. You go online and make a reservation for a car in your neighborhood. The keys are left in the car, and you unlock a car using a special electronic card. When you're done, you simply return the car to its parking spot. We've used Zip Car twice now, and it's pretty handy.

ReplyDeleteThe zip car thing sounds pretty cool, and I'm sure that it is a great asset in an urban setting where owning a car is not really practical.
