The Way to a Woman's Heart: Costco

On Friday evening John took me on a lovely date. First, he rented a zip car.

Then, we drove through the Battery Tunnel to Brooklyn.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner together.

Then, John bought me lots of groceries!

What a man!

  1. Christina, I need to get you and Bekah together for a bake-a-thon! I think that then, we would find the way to a man's (or men's) heart. :)

P.S. for those of us not from NYC, can you describe the Zip car thing?

  2. Too funny, Ben. Maybe we can get a bake-a-thon on the calendar for this summer.

Sorry for the confusion- Zip Car is a a car sharing service. It's kind of like a rental car, but you pay a membership fee and pay by the hour. Zip Cars are parked unattended in neighborhoods. You go online and make a reservation for a car in your neighborhood. The keys are left in the car, and you unlock a car using a special electronic card. When you're done, you simply return the car to its parking spot. We've used Zip Car twice now, and it's pretty handy.

  4. I think that a bake-a-thon this summer sounds excellent! We will have to make that happen.

The zip car thing sounds pretty cool, and I'm sure that it is a great asset in an urban setting where owning a car is not really practical.
